Way back when, some 40 years ago in the Stockholm suburb Upplands Väsby, Putte wanted to play the drums in a blues band. Some wise ass listened critically and sneered "listen to the Shuffle Snider!"
Putte decided to start singing instead, and to play the guitar and blues harp...and the blues band Shuffle Sniders was born 1982. Fellow players have come and gone but after 40 years Shuffle Sniders still goes strong and delivers solid blues to the people.
The song remains the same: Nothing but the Blues!

Damn right I've got the blues!

Shuffle Sniders plays the blues like they play it in Chicago. Guitar solos duelling with the harp player. Drums and bass pushing the steady shuffle beat on and on and a gospel-flavored Hammond adds some soul to the stew. Just like at Blue Chicago on North Wells Street.
We borrow our songs from bluesmen like Junior Wells, John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, Sonny Boy Williamson, Willie Dixon, Albert King, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan or Robert Johnson and many more.
Blues that you can dance to, or sit down and listen to while drinking a beer. Or maybe three.

Patrik "Blues-Putte" Andersson

The band's main man Blues-Putte plays many different instruments together with many different co-players. Fulltime in the 90ies with Blues Avenue, in the soulband Power Play with Jalle for 11 years from 2003 and on, but from now on it is all Shuffle Sniders!

Thomas "Knådis" Hedström

Knådis is a veteran in the musical world of Enköping, all since his days as rock star in Månsken in the 80ies. Apart from Shuffle Sniders, he now also plays in Weekend Rockstars and Swaymaster.

Kristian "Krille" Dickson

Krille has been all over the place musically in a multitude of bands and productions when he isn't making beds for others to lie in. But now he mainly plays in the Royal Blues Band when he isn't playing with Shuffle Sniders.

Jalle Flodström

Hammond, pianos and backing vocals

Jalle is a Hammond enthusiast that has played soul and funk in Power Play for more than 40 years. He also plays blues rock in Badass Blues Band.
He even plays Hammond on a Nord C2D! He can no longer find anyone that is willing to lift the other side of his 400Lbs 1965 Hammond C3.

Lelle "Bingo" Törnqvist

Lelle is an exceptionally active musician. When he isn't teaching percussion students he not only lays down the beat for Shuffle Sniders but also plays the blues with Steve Future and Blue Trinity, party covers with High Fidelity and Remington Steele and then some big band with Graham Foundation Orchestra to round things off. Magnus Bladh

Magnus plays surprisingly many gigs with his Fenders as first call freelance all around the greater Stockholm area. He also plays blues rock in Badass Blues Band together with Jalle, cool soul music in Soul Central and sophisticated jazz with OWL BOG.
